We have all wondered in our spiritual journey if we are saved. And when we question our faith, that ultimately leads to more questions, which by the way is the nature of biblical mystery.

What are we to do? Ask ourselves.
What good is there in claiming to be a Christian and if your life doesn’t reflect that claim?
Is your faith in Christ changing who you are. Do you demonstrate that faith by your actions?
Do you demonstrate that face even when it is not easy to do so?
If not, do you really have a saving faith?

James // Faith or Favoritism

“My brothers and sisters, do you with your acts of favoritism really believe in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ?”
Wait, favoritism is a sin? The royal law is the law of God. Lev. 19:18, Love your neighbor as yourself is the guiding principle for how we are to treat others, and to show favoritism is to love one differently than the other.

There are consequences to what we shape our hearts desire around. Sin reaches full grown perfection in death. Spiritual death being separation from God. But doing what the Word says confirms the Word in your heart. You will be blessed in your actions.

James // Faith, Wisdom, & Trials

Wisdom is skill at life, particularly how to make the right decision. For
James wisdom is the ability to skillfully determine how to live in a Godly
manner. Of course God gives this freely to those who ask.
